Joe Ackerman has worked at St. Augustine's parish from 1998 to June 2007 as
the Business Administrator. Involved with the renovations and expansion of the St. Augustine campus completed in 2002 and the school merger between St. Augustine and St. Mary's Cathedral grade
school in 2003.

Accepted the position of Parish/Business Administrator for the tri-parish cluster including St. Mary's Cathedral and Christ Church Newman Center in July 2007.

Married to Janet for 26 years. Two daughter, one attending Sauk Rapids Public school and one attending St. Cloud State University. Both daughters attended St. Augustine Catholic grade school.

Jeff Bemboom is the father of 3 boys who attend Sacred Heart School. He is married to Gwen Pedersen and they reside in St. Cloud. He has been a member of Sacred Heart Parish for the last 8 years and was a member when he and his wife married over 13 years ago. Jeff is employed at the city of Sartell as a water operator. He has a strong work ethic and is driven to accomplish goals he sets for himself. His goal in serving the merger committee is to be a strong voice for the Sacred Heart School families and to be a positive voice of reason.

Ann Cofell is a parishioner at St. Mary's Cathedral Parish. She is the mother of one daughter, Ashley, who is a graduate of St. Mary's Cathedral Grade School and Cathedral High School. Ann previously served on the Cathedral High School Board. She is an attorney with St. Cloud Area Legal Services.

Paul Daniel is a former member of the St Augustine’s School Board where he served the final three years as president. Paul was part of the merger process that oversaw the St. Mary’s Cathedral and St. Augustine’s merger. He is a life long product of Catholic education in the St. Cloud area, attending St. Peter’s Grade School, Cathedral High School and St. John’s University. In addition to being a local business co-owner, Paul has been a parishioner of St. Augustine’s for almost 20 years. Paul and his wife Karen have two children, both who are part of the local Catholic School system, and he is looking forward to helping merge Sacred Heart with St. Augustine’s-St. Mary’s Cathedral Grade School.

Karla Fleming a Sacred Heart alumni of the "Sr. Johnelle era" and parent of two students at Sacred Heart; Anna - 2nd grade and Ellie - Kindergarten. Karla currently works as a Speech Language Pathologist and previously worked for ISD 47 as an educational therapist. Karla hopes to collaboratively work to find answers and develop a plan for the best possible school for all the students.

Erin Hatlestad serves as principal at Sacred Heart School. She received her undergraduate degree in Education from the College of St. Benedict and her Master's in Administration/Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas. She has served as principal for the past twelve years. Prior to that, she taught kindergarten, second and fifth grade in catholic schools in the St. Cloud Diocese. Erin grew up in Sauk Centre and is the oldest of five children. She and her husband, Jamie, have three children, Logan, Lauren and Isabella, and have been members of Sacred Heart since 1998. Erin's hobbies include scrapbooking, watching movies, spending time with her extended family and reading.

Troy Poetz and his wife, Nicole, have three children. Katie, Jack and Lillie, ages 8, 6, and 3 respectively. Katie is a second grader at St. Aug's and Jack is in Kindergarten there. Nicole is a stay home mom. This is Troy’s first year as chair of St. Aug's school advisory board.

Michelle Voit and her husband, Jeff, have been members of Sacred Heart Parish for 12 years. They have three daughters, ages 8, 6, and 3. Michelle has degrees in Management/Economics from the U of M – Morris, English Education from SCSU and a master’s degree in English as a Second Language from Hamline University. She has a passion for education and currently teaches English at Cathedral High School and English Language Learners for Sauk Rapids Community Education.

Jill Weber and her husband, Steve, live in rural Sauk Rapids and have three children, ages 11, 9 and 7, who attend St. Aug’s & St. Mary’s Elementary School. They were both raised Catholic in small towns and have been members at St. Augustine’s Parish since 2002. Jill is currently the Vice President of the St. Aug’s & St. Mary’s Home & School Association Executive Board. They have been involved with the school since their oldest started pre-school in 2003.

Fr. Ron Weyrens was born and raised in the St. Cloud area. Except for 7th and 8th grades, he attended Catholic Schools, including moving across the St. John’s campus from high school to seminary. All his parish assignments have included catholic schools and served as a part time high school teacher at Cathedral High School and Sacred Heart High School in East Grand Forks. Fr. Ron joined the Sacred Heart Parish staff in 2005.

Bob Zawacki was born and raised in Foley, the oldest of six children. He attended St. Cloud State University, served in the U.S. Navy for four years, then graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato with a degree in Business. He is married to Nancy and is the father of Brian and Paul. Bob enjoys fishing, camping, rose gardening, and road trips. He has a passion for mission outreach and peace and justice issues.
