please pray to Sacred Heart of Jesus to heal me completely and permanently of ulcerative colitis (chronic stomach disorder) and restore me back to health and to obtain for me the grace never to experience a relapse or flare-up of ulcerative colitis again. I am suffering for the past five years.

Reading this over and over got me through my day at work today and kept me from giving up. Thank you for giving me a sense of sanity despite the craziness of my job, and the motivation to persevere and keep looking for a job that makes me happy again.
A Web Prayer A Week
One of my Lenten Journey tasks is to submit a prayer a week on our Web site. This is that prayer.
If I can craft the words more than once a week...and hold some silent reflection as part of that...then I believe that God gathers up my intent and holds it sacred.
